Winter Festival - 10 days of concerts, balls,
competitions, races, fireworks, bands, comedy, debates, food, wine and
more. The festival includes free and ticketed events. (See Queenstown info

- 2 to 6 July 2010 -
Wanaka
Mountain Film Festival - Includes workshops, an art
exhibition, international guest speakers, live music, an awards night
and more.
- 3 & 4 July 2010 -
Tough Guy and Gal Challenge - An off-road
running event open to both male and female competitors 13 years and
older. The course includes swamp crossings, a rope climb, crawl under
barb wire, native bush trails and natural and man-made obstacles (see
Auckland).
- 19 July (Monday) 2010 - School Term 3 begins - (See

North Face Peak to Peak - Individuals and teams of two to five
people race by ski/ snowboard, mountain bike, kayak, foot and road bike
from the top of the Remarkables Ski Area to Coronet Peak.

Food Show - Auckland - An annual showcase of gourmet food from

- 30 July to 1 August 2010 - The
New Zealand Affordable Art Show - Popular with artists and art buyers alike and encourages New
Zealanders to celebrate their identity and culture by buying local
art. TSB Bank Arena, Wellington.
