Coromandel Peninsula

Coromandel Peninsula, to the east of Auckland, forms the barrier between the Pacific Ocean. You can reach Coromandel Peninsula from Auckland by ferry or by road around the Firth of Thames.

There are five small towns on the peninsula: Coromandel, Whitianga, Thames, Tairua, and Whangamata.
