Coromandel Peninsula - Backpacker Hostels

  • BayWatch Backpackers  We are right on the beach front in Whitianga, Mercury Bay. Minutes walk to all restaurants, bars and town. Close to ferry which goes to Ferry Landing. Only 30 minutes to Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove. Kayaks and Banana boat at door, and free transport to and from Ace-Hi Horse Ranch. Small and intimate with a wonderful view of the bay.

    Tairua is only a 20 minute drive to the world famous Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove, and only a 45 minute drive to Whitianga, Thames and Whangamata. Guests can choose from either studio units with their own private bathrooms, double rooms and bunk rooms.

    448 Wharf Road, Coromandel
    Anchor Lodge is situated 500 metres from the town centre. The resort is set amongst beautiful native bush, overlooking Coromandel Harbour.
